*deep breath* Alright, so Comicon was pretty cool. Not totally my thing, but I got to see the Ghost Hunters and I got to hang a bit with Matt and Tyler which was awesome. Plus I got some good stuff (new kimono, new hat, signed copy of Mouse Guard, geta sandals...).

I feel like I'm always saying this: not too much going on. Life's being all crazy right now, but my job is still my job and me is still existing.

My sewing projects have EXPLODED. A little. First Sarah at work wanted a hat, then Ross saw it and now I'm making him one, I bought fabric for an obi for a wa-lolita outfit I want to make at some point. I also bought the material for the corset which was supposed to be my current project, and I still have stuff that I told Reid and Dan I would make for them, and jeans and things to patch/mend and a scarf that is not even half knitted!! Gah, I'm lazy. My problem with art has always been though, that I get excited to try something to see if I can do it (i.e. making a fleece hat) and then once I learn I can I get bored with it. That's why I usually don't polish off many drawings, and why my poems get set down and then never edited and finished.

But yeah, finding myself a little thrown off by this lack of JET results stuff... finding myself thinking some days that I might not even want to go. Lots of figuring out that my brain needs to do and not much that it's actually accomplishing. Glad I have sewing to keep me hands busy for the moment. Also, two things I really need to get done: (*beats self up* get going now!!) I need to get a copy of my criminal record from the FBI to stay eligible for JET, and I need to take my car to get the muffler looked at/replaced. The brackets rusted off, and my dad wired it back up but the thing rattles like a madman in a tin cup when I put it in gear or go over bumps.
