Lolita Skirt WIP

This morning I finished the skirt part of a lolita outfit I've been working on, and I couldn't wait to wear it, so I wore it in to the bookstore for my 4 hour shift.

When I found this material, I was originally planning on making a dress or a jumperskirt, but I didn't like the way the bodice was coming out, so I decided to make two separate pieces, a skirt and a vest (luckily I had plenty of fabric left over!). The vest design and pattern are giving me a little trouble, but once I have the outfit completed I'll post it on here.
